This is one of the popular hill stations in India situated at the meeting place of three mountain streams- Nallathanni, Mudrapuzha and Kandala. Earlier this place was the summer resort of British Government in India.

Mattupetty : This is 13 km from Munnar. Situated a t an height of 1700 mt. This place is famous for specialized dairy farm where the Indo-Swiss live stock project is running. Here You can see more then 100 varieties of high yielding cattle's. Beside this you will find sprawling Kundala Tea Plantations and the Kundalalake that attract tourists.

Pothamedu : Pothamedu is 6km from Munnar. This place offers an excellent view of the tea, cardamom and coffee plantation. This is an ideal place for long mountain trekking.

Devikulam : Devikulam is 7km from Munar. This idyllic hill station has its velvet lawns , cool mountain , flora and fauna. Near to this place you will find Sita Devi Lake that gives you picturesque surroundings , fishing spot and mineral waters.

Pallivasal : Pallivasal is 8km from Munnar. At this place you Kerela government has started first Hydro Electric project. Beside this you will find picturesque scenic beauty.

Attukal : Attukal is 9km from Munnar. Here you will find a panorama of rolling hills and water falls. This is an ideal place for long treks.

Nyayamakad : Nyayamakad is 10km from Munnar located between Rajamala and Munnar.Here you will find water cascade down a hill from a height of about 1600 meters. Its enchanting surroundings make it an excellent picnic as well as trekking spots.
