Overview:

Resort Dona Alcina is situated 1 km from the Candolim beach in north Goa off the Candolim-Calangute Road. The resort is 30 kilometers away from the Dabolim Airport, 12 kilometers from Panaji and 54 kilometers from Margao Railway Station.

A typical red brick Goan house with fluttering curtains surrounded by a well-manicured lawn with a huge open space in the front for car parking and a line of souvenir shops, jewellers and a tailoring and draping shop; this is the reception and front part of Resort Dona Alcina. The inside of the reception is done up like a living room with colourful curtains and wooden furniture.

Facilities available at Resort Dona Alcina include a swimming pool with sun beds, car rental service, doctor on call, laundry service and power backup.

Room Amenities
Resort Dona Alcina is divided into blocks and each block is named after a flower viz., Daffodil, Lily, Daisy, among others. All blocks combined together have 80 well-furnished twin or double bedded rooms that are partly air-conditioned. Room amenities include LCD TV, cable television, telephone, tea/coffee maker, refrigerator, ceiling fan, internet access and balcony/sit-out area. All rooms have attached bathrooms with a shower cubicle, running hot and cold water and basic bathroom amenities like soap, shampoo, towels and shower caps.

Dining
The poolside restaurant cum bar, Boa Cozinha, serves multi-cuisine fare including Goan, Continental, Chinese and Indian. The seating is arranged in a way most conducive to the guests with some indoors and some tables by the swimming pool. Another dinning outlet is an indoor restaurant, which is open throughout the day

Conference / Banquet
The resort has a conference hall, Pinocchio, which can accommodate 100 guests in auditorium style seating, 30 guests in U-shape seating arrangement and 50 guests in class room style.
