Baba Ramdev Ashram, one of the popular ashram for yoga and meditation all across the world. Established by Baba Ramdev, yoga guru, the aim of this ashram is to establish a learning center where the prime objective is to foster education, based on modern scientific learning that promote healthy mind and body that further lead spiritual development of person. He believes in the optimization of the value of   rationalism, beauty and dedication that engender a world of harmony of friendship, brotherhood, peace and prosperity.

At the age of 12, he lost his interest in studies and quiet school, he joined a yogic monastery (gurukul) in Khanpur village and lost interest in the worldly desires that renounces the world and entered into worldly desires. At the point of time, he assumed the name Swami Ramdev. It is believed that he traveled Himalayas for several years before settled in Haridwar.
